What's up with the Color of the Year?

Several years ago, at Coverings, I sat in on an education program that is not something that I would normally attend. It was Leatrice Eiseman and she was talking about color trends.

I found the program fascinating. How is it that an unseen trend can sweep through society’s consciousness and affect an entire group of people so that they all think and desire the same thing?

She presents at Coverings every year and if I’m going to the show I don’t miss her event.

Eiseman is the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and they just released their Color of the Year for 2024: Peach Fuzz. [Pantone]
